Vegan Gingerbread Royal Icing made with Anti-Grain Apple Egg

In a small bowl, prepare your apple "egg" by whisking together 2 tsp. of Anti-Grain Apple Egg Substitute with the 2 Tbsp. of plant-based milk. Note this is less than the package instructions as we're looking to replace an egg white in this case.
Scrape the apple egg into your mixing bowl then add the vanilla extract.
Slowly add the powdered sugar and cream of tartar (about 1/4 C. at a time) as you mix with a hand mixer until smooth and paste-like.
Scrape the vegan royal icing into a pastry bag and decorate your cookies as desired!
